How to Send Shawn Your Notes When You Get Stuck
When you hit a topic that isn’t clicking, Shawn can only help if he can clearly see what you’re
working on. Use the guidelines below to make sure your notes are readable and complete.

1. Send a PDF Whenever Possible
PDFs are clearer and easier to read than photos. Please use a scanner app if you can.

2. If You Must Send a Photo, Make It Legible
Lighting: Use bright, even lighting and avoid shadows.
Positioning: Hold the camera directly over the page; don’t tilt. Fill the frame without
cutting anything off.
Focus: Tap to focus. Move closer instead of zooming.
Multiple Pages: Send pages in order, one at a time.

3. What to Include
– The specific problem or topic you’re stuck on.
– Where in the codebook or workbook you were working.
– Your thought process so far
– A PDF or clear photos of your notes

Why this matters:
Clear images = faster answers.
Poor-quality images cause delays and extra back-and-forth.
