Practice tests are an excellent way to recognize solid skills that you already have and develop ones that need attention. The process for a practice test starts by choosing the license you are practicing for and then selecting the practice test. The practice test will be mailed to you with an answer sheet. Simply fill out the answer sheet and email it back to be graded. Once graded, Shawn will set up a review time which usually takes about an hour. By reviewing the correct answers, you will be more confident with your established skills, and by reviewing the wrong answers, you will now know what to focus your studies on to be successful at the state exam.
Part of getting ready to take the Oregon state electrical exam is to be approved by Building Codes Division (BCD). If you need help or have questions about how to fill out the application, Shawn is available to assist you. You can get approved by BCD and sit for the exam later when you are well prepared to pass the exam. Fill out the application as soon as possible.
