Practice tests are an excellent way to recognize skills that you know are solid and develop the ones that need attention. The process for a practice test goes like this. Choose the license that you are practicing for and then select the practice test. The practice test will be mailed to you with an answer sheet, fill out the answer sheet and email it back to be graded. Once graded Shawn will set up a review time which usually takes about an hour. Reviewing the correct answers, you will be more confident with your established skills. Reviewing the wrong answers, you will now know what to focus your studies on to be successful at the state exam.
Part of getting ready to take the Oregon state electrical exam is to be approved by Building Codes Division(BCD). If you need help or have questions about how to fill out the application Shawn can assist you with the application. You can get approved by BCD and sit for the exam later, when you are well prepared to pass the exam. Fill out the application as soon as possible.
