Supervisor Test Preparation
Supervisor Test Prep Class (Online)
Fully online with unrestricted access to the instructor until licensed.
This course has the same content and the same ability to interact in a virtual class format. You will receive the 500+ page workbook that will be used as the textbook. Students will be able to ask questions and are encouraged to do so. This is the best option for tight schedules that are not able to attend in-person instruction.

You will receive the 500+ page workbook that will be used as the textbook. The in-person instruction is an effective way of understanding these confusing and complicated calculations. Students that learn this way appreciate the personal dynamic that is unmistakable in a live format. Students will be able to ask questions and are encouraged to do so. Bundle includes, Ugly's, key word index, and big button calculator. 50 hours of classroom instruction. Class size is limited to 20.

Oregon Rule & Law
This required class for license renewal is presented in an efficient method that will detail the new changes in an understandable delivery for all of Oregon’s electricians. Your instructor, Shawn Haggin formerly worked at Building Codes Division and has been instrumental in the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code for three code cycles. You will get an inside perspective that rarely is shared but vital to the Oregon electrical industry. The analysis that is presented in this course will give you a better understanding of the process and the code requirements that have changed.
8 Hour Specialty Code
The 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC) and Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC) changes are here and online for your convenience. Your instructor, Shawn Haggin, will explain changes from an installer’s perspective and inspector’s. This eight-hour course will explore the code changes that effect the electrical installations and specific Oregon changes. You will receive in depth and an inside perspective of how the OESC is completed, along with related industry news.
4 Hour Specialty Code
The 2020 National Electrical Code and Oregon electrical Specialty Code changes are here and online for your convenience. Your instructor, Shawn Haggin, will share details that went into the making of the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC). He will also identify the National Electrical Code (NEC) changes and interpret them to real world applications. This four-hour course will show you the changes that you need to know along with necessary industry news.
Calculation Courses
Calculation Course (4 Hour)
By learning these calculations, you are going to be on a higher level than the rank-and-file electrician. Knowing how to perform calculations is a skill that is enviable by most electricians. This course will focus on a single-family dwelling, dorm, bank building, residential/ commercial building, and standalone questions. Elite level electricians perform these computations routinely. Some of the skills that you will learn in this class will be, reading the question thoroughly to fully understand what the question is asking of you, dissecting the code to explore putting installation requirements together that meet code.
This class is approved for 4 Hours of Continuing Education with the State of Oregon Building Codes Division.
